My day job is managing the Collection Access team at Te Papa. This consists of the Rights Team, the Collection Imaging team, Te Papa Press team, the Loans and Acquisitions team, the team responsible for Te Papa's collections database, and the Knowledge and Information team (library, archives & corporate records). Previous to this role I was Te Papa's Rights Manager. I'm a career GLAM (Galleries, Libraries, Archives & Museums) worker having been in the sector since 1993. I'm interested in collections, content, and copying. I advocate for the open reuse of content, support a vibrant public domain, and encourage the use of Creative Commons copyright licensing. In addition to my day job, I co-facilitate the Wikidata/Wikipedia/Wikimedia meetup for Wellington and the Aotearoa New Zealand Online Wikipedia, Wikidata, Wikimedia Meetup.
