I am passionate about empowering BIPOC to take up space that they rightly deserve and taking a seat on the table to use their voice at work, in their community and their lives.
I am the Youth Convenor on the NZ Council of Trade Unions Komiti Pasefika Executive (the Committee for Pasifika workers in NZ)
Member of Piki Youth Rōpū – a group of young Rangatahi from all over Wellington engaging in korero about Mental Health and ensuring it is fit for for purpose for all young people (specifically for me BIPOC)
Creator of a podcast called Wave Makers - sharing stories of BIPOC community leaders, social justice warriors and activists. People who want to make positive social change in Aotearoa.
And most importantly – A mother to a beautiful 5 year old girl
