I serve on the Committee of Trust Democracy, a new not-for-profit that focuses on the health of Aotearoa New Zealand’s democracy and how to strengthen it.  I am also one of two partners in a consultancy called Public Engagement Projects. We have a track record of innovative and internationally recognised projects, including:The government’s first nationwide public dialogue processes, which included the first online policy forumsThe government’s first public deliberation process, which included the first online deliberation process, which was recognised by the OECDThe use of advanced mass participation platforms including Pol.is.I am a member of the Public Service Commission's Expert Advisory Panel for NZ's Open Government Partnership, an international initiative to strengthen democracies.
