Founder
Anjum Rahman (MNZM, FCA) is the founder and Project Lead for the
Inclusive Aotearoa Collective Tāhono, working to develop and implement a national Strategy for Belonging and Inclusion. She is currently one of the co-chairs of the
Christchurch Call Advisory Network, and a member of the Independent Advisory Committee of the
Global Internet Forum on Countering Terrorism.
Anjum was appointed as a Trustee of
Trust Waikato, a major funder in the Waikato Region. She is a founding member and governance member of the
Islamic Women’s Council of New Zealand. She has also been a founding member and trustee of
Shama Ethnic Women’s Trust, which provides social support to ethnic women. She has worked in the area of sexual violence prevention both as a volunteer and as part of an expert panel reporting on
the future of sexual violence services in New Zealand.
